Job Description

Report to : Head of Institutional Banking

Main Activities

Professionally and proactively manage the development of cost effective, long-term liability business with reputable companies and organizations in order to ensure Bank’s maximum profitability.
Identify, develop a target pipeline and aggressively market for new profitable status customers from the identified target sectors.
Manage key customer relationships through regular contacts and visits by ensuring the effective call program is maintained on all assigned and prospect customers.
Maintain high professional standards and strive to provide quality services and competitive pricing to clients.
Cultivate good rapport with institutional clients and ensure that the Bank becomes the choice for their investments.
Continuously identify and exploit cross selling opportunities that embed the bank and its products with the customer needs.
Establish quality profit earning customer relationships within the target market
Ensure compliance to Know Your Customer (KYC) and Anti Money Laundering (AML) requirements in all dealings with existing and potential customers

Knowledge and Experience

University degree in Business administration or Economics and relevant professional qualifications in banking, finance or marketing.
Minimum of two years relevant working experience in a similar position.
Computer literacy and knowledge of new evolving technology systems
Broad knowledge of banking operations with hands on cash management’s products and services.
Ability to effectively sell institutional and related bank products and expand market share, segment the target
market and gather market intelligence information.
Ability to assess customer needs and develop products that meet these needs
