Role Overview

Oversee construction quality across all Advent projects. Conduct daily site inspections, enforce standards, resolve quality issues, and ensure every project meets our very high expectations. If you have an eye for detail, strong technical skills, and a passion for excellence, we want to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct inspections and testing of construction materials and works
• Monitor compliance with quality standards and specifications
• Identify and resolve quality issues during project execution
• Maintain accurate records of inspections and quality control activities
• Collaborate with project teams to implement quality improvement measures
• Support internal and external audits
• Prepare detailed reports on quality metrics and findings

Qualifications

Requirements:

• Degree/Diploma in Civil Engineering or Construction Management
• Experience in construction quality control in Tanzania and/or the East Africa region.
• Strong knowledge of industry standards and safety regulations
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Solutions-driven individual who can identify problems and implement solutions without supervision, who does not believe in only reporting problems.
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities
• Certification in quality control (e.g., CQI, CQA) is an added advantage
• Familiarity with quality management systems and methodologies
