JV-SPEK is a joint venture of four leading CLASS 1, Civil, Building, Mechanical, and Electrical Contractors in Tanzania: Skyline Properties, Pioneer Builder, Emirate Builders, and Kings Builders, undertaking National and Multinational projects.

EACOP has awarded JV-SPEK the contract for Early Civil Works of some Main Camps and Coating Yards (MCPY and CY) and its access road within Tanzania.

Therefore, JV-SPEK is inviting willing and qualified candidates to apply for various positions required for the execution of EACOP Projects under JV-SPEK while upholding the ZERO HARM agenda.

PROJECT MANAGER-CIVIL (2 POSTS)

As a Project Manager at JV-SPEK, you will be responsible for managing project and business health, including human capital, financials, and all other project resources, to ensure ZERO HARM best practices. In this role, you will be accountable for executing and delivering contractual terms set by the entity and the client, while optimizing resource utilization and providing strategic leadership and management. He/she will be responsible for Contract Management, facility management, Budgeting and cost control of the project, Management of resources, risk assessments, stakeholder engagement, quality controls, etc.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field.
  • Must be registered as a Graduate/Professional Engineer with ERB.
  • At least 5+ years of working experience in a similar role.
  • Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills.
  • Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills.
  • Makes responsible and efficient use of time, talent, money, assets, and natural resources to achieve plans and goals.
