We are hiring a Project Management Officer to join our team and ensure delivery teams meet scope, schedule, and quality goals. The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field, along with experience in project management, coordination, or operations, preferably in payments, fintech, telecom, or banking sectors. Responsibilities
- Governance & Controls: Maintain PMO registers (RAID, decisions, changes), enforce templates, stage-gates, and documentation standards, and support internal/external audits.
- Planning & Scheduling: Build and maintain integrated plans, track milestones and critical dependencies (platform, vendor, regulatory), and drive recovery actions for slippage.
Reporting & Insights: Produce weekly RAG reports, dashboards, and SteerCo packs, ensure data - accuracy in PMO tools, and drive actions from insights.
- Risk/Issue Management: Facilitate identification, impact assessment, contingency planning (including service continuity), and timely escalations.
- Financial Tracking: Support budget/forecast updates, track PO/invoice status, perform burn-rate and variance analysis, and assist with benefits tracking.
- Resource & Vendor Coordination: Track allocations and capacity, manage SOW deliverables, handle onboarding, and coordinate deliverable acceptance and vendor follow-ups across gateway/MFS partners.
- Delivery Support: Coordinate UAT cycles, defect triage, release readiness, cutover/runbook activities, and documentation reviews.
- Meetings & Communications: Plan ceremonies and governance forums, prepare agendas, minutes, and action logs, and follow through to closure with stakeholders.
- Continuous Improvement: Recommend process and tooling enhancements to improve predictability, transparency, and throughput.
Skills & Tools - Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and MS Project, with working knowledge of Jira and MS Project.
- Clear written and verbal communication, strong stakeholder management, and facilitation skills.
- Analytical, detail-oriented, and structured approach, with comfort in handling numbers and adhering to deadlines and governance.
