Job Title: Mechanical Plant Inspector
Reports to: Maintanance Control Centre Manager
JOB PURPOSE
Rhodium Personnel Management, on behalf of our client, a leading cement manufacturing company is seeking a qualified and experienced Mechanical Plant Inspector to support the maintenance and reliability of plant equipment.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform routine/shutdown inspection of plant equipment and report to Planning for execution process.
- Responsible for overall decision in the area based on given quality requirement and customer satisfaction.
- Monitor and follow up equipment operating condition, with close follow up of all critical equipment.
- Work with EAM system to ensure detailed input of item as required.
- Initiate and follow-up of any repair which comes from inspection results to ensure that the reported challenge is fixed.
- Analyzing equipment failure data to identify patterns and trends, conduct Root Cause Failure Analysis Weekly, and follow up of preventive action list proposed.
- Collaborating with other departments to ensure that reliability is integrated into all aspects of the organization.
- Prepare inspection reports and recommendation and report to supervisor.
- Enforces all safety, health and environmental rules and regulations according to company/country protocol including OSHA compliance.
- Ensure compliance with the HC Group Code of Business Conduct, as well as other policies and guidelines.
- Perform any other duties as may be assigned by the immediate supervisor.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor Degree in mechanical engineering or its equivalent.
- Minimum of five (5) years working experience in cement manufacturing plants.
- Strong knowledge of condition monitoring equipment and computerized maintenance system
- Proven ability to work as part of a team.
- Excellent analytical and reporting skills.
