Future Stars Academy is a youth-focused sports and education organization based in Arusha, Tanzania. We use football as a powerful tool to inspire, educate, and empower young people, helping them reach their full potential both on and off the field. We are currently seeking a creative, organized, and passionate Marketing and Social Media Officer to join our team and help us share the Future Stars story with the world.

Key Responsibilities

As the Marketing and Social Media Officer, you will play a vital role in amplifying our impact by:

• Capturing and Documenting Activities:
• Attend and document football matches, training sessions, tournaments, and community outreach events.
• Take high-quality photos and engaging video footage for various platforms.
• Create short and long-form content to showcase the impact of Future Stars.
• Managing Digital Platforms and Communications:
• Develop and implement a monthly social media content calendar.

Create and publish content across all platforms:

ꟷ Official Website

• Monitor engagement, respond to messages/comments, and grow our digital presence.
• Update website content and ensure alignment with current campaigns or activities.

Branding and Storytelling:

• Uphold and develop the Future Stars visual identity and messaging.
• Support donor reporting and external communications with visual and written content.
• Collaborate with coaches and the management team to gather success stories and impact narratives.

Requirements

We’re looking for someone who is:

• A quick learner – able to adapt to new tools, tasks, and environments.
• Creative and innovative – with a strong eye for visuals and storytelling.
• Organized and self-motivated – able to manage time and priorities independently.
• Flexible and hands-on – ready to work on the ground, attend events, and meet deadlines.
• Proficient in managing social media platforms and basic video/photo editing.
• Familiar with tools like Canva, CapCut, Adobe Suite, or similar (an added advantage).
• Fluent in English (Swahili is a plus).
