BRAC Tanzania Finance LTD is seeking applications from competent, dynamic and self-motivated individual to fill up the following position;
Job Title: Manager, Budgeting and Treasury
Job Location: Dar es Salaam
Purpose
Responsible for financial planning, analysis, and projection for the organization as well as they forecast future revenues and expenditures to establish cost structures and determine capital budgeting for projects.
Job Responsibilities:
- Preparing regulatory reports (BOT [bi-weekly, monthly, quarterly reports], operational and
Management report). - Preparation of monthly and quarterly financial reports for internal users, including information on achievement of planned targets and liquidity management.
- Co-ordination of the annual budget process for the various departments including circulation of guidelines, data collection templates, and information on past transactions to the various departmental heads.
- Directing and controlling treasury Activities, Management of BRAC funds, capital planning and allocation.
- Evaluate investment proposals and advise management on the suitability of the investment proposals to ensure best returns.
- Management of Product pricing strategies.
- Develop long-term corporate financial strategies and establish professional relationships with banks and other investment lending institutions.
- Responsible for Asset/Liability management.
- Manage all financial risks of BRAC Microfinance.
Safeguarding job responsibilities
- Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment, and
exploitation to achieve the program’s goals on safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance, and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment. - Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members
and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action. - Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so.
Required Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or any other related field. MBA is an added advantage.
- Professional certification is a must
- 5+ Years working experience with the Financial Institution in the relevant role.
- Financial planning, strategy formulation, forecasting and implementation skills.
- Corporate finance and microfinance reporting standards
- Cost accounting and related operational matters.
- Advanced Microsoft office skills (Excel, Word, Power Point)
- Reports Preparations Skills
- Good Communication skills
- Analytical skills
- Problem solving and process improvement skills.
