REPORTING LINE: SUPPLY CHAIN & PROCUREMENT MANAGER
LOCATION: DAR-ES-SALAAM, TANZANIA.

About the role:
The Logistics Coordinator role is a vital role in making sure that there’s efficient logistics for people and UpEnergy products to the market in Tanzania and coordination of warehouse operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate the organisation transportation procedures and ensure prompt and accurate movement of UpEnergy Products and materials, e.g. Cook Stoves, EPC
Monitor Fuel consumption of logistics vehicles to ensure cost management
Arrange timely vehicle schedules and other logistical arrangements. (Fueling of Distributors motor vehicles)

Communicate with suppliers and other key stakeholders on proper transportation of goods and materials.
Arrange timely vehicle schedules and other logistical arrangements.
Supervise the Drivers and monitor their movement.
Report timely and accurately to management any incidents, accidents in relation to vehicle movement, mismanagement, fraud.
Prepare and provide the fuel consumption reports, including making retirements
Support with the team leads and distribution team with operations manager
To perform any duties that will be assigned by your line manager and management
To mediate any conflict among agents and drivers.
Support warehouse operation i.e., issuance of stoves.
Coordinate receiving, loading, and offloading of raw materials and company products.
Manage warehouse arrangement.
Assist in developing and implementing warehouse processes and improvements.
Ensure all safety protocols and guidelines are followed to prevent accidents or injuries.
Undertake any other related duties as assigned by the line management from time to time
Does this sound like you?
Must Have:
Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Logistics or related field.
Minimum 2 years of experience in logistics, warehouse operations, or inventory management.
Experience with logistics software and inventory systems (e.g., SAP, WMS) is an advantage.
