Young Africans Sports Club, also known as Yanga, is a professional football team from Tanzania with its base in Jangwani, Dar es Salaam. The club, which was established in 1935, holds its home matches at Benjamin Mkapa Stadium.

The team, known as “Yanga” (Young Boys), has won a number of domestic cups and league titles, including 28 league championships, and has taken part in several CAF Champions League tournaments. They have five times won the CECAFA Club Championship.

The CAF Confederation Cup, sometimes known as the TotalEnergies CAF Confederation Cup for sponsorship purposes, is an annual association football club competition organized by CAF that was formed in 2004 by the merger of the CAF Cup and the African Cup Winners’ Cup.

The competition qualifies clubs based on their performance in their respective national leagues and cup competitions. It is the second-tier African club football competition, ranked below the CAF Champions League. The tournament winner will face the winner of the aforementioned competition in the CAF Super Cup the following season.

Moroccan clubs have won the most titles (7), followed by Tunisian clubs (5). Morocco has the most winning teams, with five clubs having won the championship. The competition has been won by 13 clubs, with 5 of them winning it more than once. CS Sfaxien is the most successful club in the competition’s history, having won it three times in a row. RS Berkane is the current champion, having defeated Orlando Pirates on penalties in the 2022 Fina Cup.
