Job Description
We are currently seeking for passionate and dynamic guest focused Health and Safety professionals who pride themselves on their ability to deliver extraordinary levels of customer service and provide creative solutions to our guests.
Implement and monitor programs and processes necessary to ensure the hotel remains in compliance with all corporate, federal and local sanitation, food safety, health & safety and environmental requirements. Drive and coordinate the implementation of EHS & HACCP programs and ensure continuous improvement in the hotel performance in consultation with relevant authorities.
General Duties And Responsibilities-
Develop Environmental Health and Safety & HACCP manuals and review annually or less if required.
Ensure that the EHS management system is established, implemented and maintained in accordance with ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001 standards requirements
Provide the top management with the necessary reports on the EHS management system established within the property along with recommendations for improvement
Develop and implement effective programs for protecting the environment and for maintaining, enhancing and fostering a “zero incident” safety culture in the Hotel
Lead or participate in various types of EHS / HACCP compliance and / or management system audits and provide guidance on conformance and corrective actions required
Establish audit requirements to ensure compliance in food safety, occupational safety and environmental regulations. Oversee all audit results, evaluate trends, communicate results and establish action plans to ensure hotel remains in compliance with corporate and regulatory requirements
Participate in accident investigation and document root cause, communicate results and set corrective actions required to prevent reoccurrence
Assessing Hotel’s employee training needs, develop training materials and conduct training programs as necessary
Ensure that the suppliers / contractors are complying with the EHS & HACCP local standards through audits and communications
Report to sector regulatory authority monthly and / or quarterly performance and hotel progress in implementing EHS management system
Monitor / identify relevant changes in EHS / HACCP local regulations and laws and update the internal procedures, policies and forms accordingly
Review action plans with the Hotel EHS committee to reach the set goals
Undertake regular inspections of the workplace to safeguard employee health and safety and minimize impact on natural resources and implement corrective action where required
Manage and control all documents (manuals, policies, procedures, logs etc.) related to EHSMS & HACCP and the corresponding reports..
Education, Qualifications & Experiences
You must also have fluency in both written and spoken English and an immaculate personal presentation along with the ability to solve problems effectively. Computer literate and knowledge of Opera will be highly regarded.
