“Guided by our commitment to caring for people so they can be their best, the Assistant Director of Food and Beverage plays a pivotal role in bringing this purpose to life. They are responsible for executing and delivering the hotel brand and brand experience across all stakeholders, including guests, colleagues, customers, owners, and communities.

The Assistant Director of Food and Beverage reports directly to the Hotel Manager. They assist in establishing overarching objectives and policies for the hotel, managing the food and beverage department, and ensuring the hotel meets its obligations under its management terms and agreements with the owner.”

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in the hospitality industry.
Knowledge of Micros.
Ability to make quick decisions in high stress situations.
Pleasant and positive personality.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work under pressure.
Strong Customer Service/Employee Relations Skills.
Excellent computer skills, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and data entry required.
Willing to be entrepreneurial and take risks.
Ability to handle multiple ongoing projects in a fast-paced team environment.
Ability to work independently on projects and also collaborate as a strong team member.
Excellent attention to detail, flexible and adaptable to change.
Excellent organizational, time-management and analytical skills.
Positive, outgoing and self-motivating individual with pleasant personality.
Ability to maintain a professional manner and appearance in all situations.
