Position Overview
The Human Resources and Administration Manager will oversee human resources, administration, and operational support for SINORAY Tanzania. The role requires ensuring compliance with national laws, company policies, and international best practices while strengthening internal systems and operational efficiency.
The position supports senior management in developing and implementing policies, procedures, and digital tools that enhance organizational performance.
Key Responsibilities
Personnel Management
- Maintain and manage staff personnel files
- Lead recruitment processes, including drafting job descriptions and participating in interviews
- Prepare and manage payroll
- Develop and implement HR policies and procedures
- Ensure compliance with staff regulations and company handbook
- Coordinate with Country Director on HR governance
Office Management
- Supervise support staff (security, cleaners, interns, IT support)
- Manage filing systems (physical and digital)
- Oversee office supplies, assets, and infrastructure
- Ensure office safety and continuity of operations
Corporate Support
- Ensure company registrations and licenses are up to date
- Enforce company policies, especially integrity and compliance standards
- Participate in management meetings
- Support stakeholder and partnership development
Required Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Law or related field
- Minimum of four (4) years relevant professional experience
- Strong organizational, communication, and negotiation skills
- Demonstrated ability to improve systems and processes
- Solid knowledge of Tanzanian labor, tax, and payroll regulations
- High computer literacy
- Excellent written and spoken English
- Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills
- Ability to work in a fast-changing environment
- Strategic, analytical, and solution-oriented mindset
- High level of integrity and professionalism
