Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and strategic HR Manager to oversee human resources functions across our multi-sector organization. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of the unique HR needs within construction, logistics, and microfinance industries, playing a pivotal role in attracting, developing, and retaining top talent while ensuring legal compliance and promoting a positive workplace culture.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead end-to-end recruitment, onboarding, and retention strategies tailored to each industry.
  • Develop and implement sector-specific HR policies and procedures in compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
  • Manage performance appraisal systems, employee engagement initiatives, and training programs.
  • Administer competitive compensation packages and benefits programs aligned with industry standards.
  • Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety standards, labor laws, and financial regulations.
  • Maintain HR metrics, analyze trends, and generate reports for senior management to inform strategic decisions.
  • Foster a culture of diversity, equity, and inclusion across all business units.
  • Supervise and mentor the HR team, encouraging professional development.
  • Collaborate closely with operational leaders in construction, logistics, and microfinance to address sector-specific HR challenges.
  • Promote a safe, compliant, and productive work environment.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field;
  • Master’s degree or HR certification (e.g., SHRM-SCP, HRBP) preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of HR management experience, with exposure to construction, logistics, and microfinance industries highly desirable.
  • Strong knowledge of employment laws, safety standards, financial compliance, and industry-specific regulations.
  • Proven leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution abilities.
  • Proficiency in HRIS systems and relevant HR tools.
  • Strategic thinker with analytical skills to interpret HR data and develop actionable insights.
  • Exceptional communication skills and ability to engage diverse stakeholders.
  • Adaptable, proactive, and solutions-oriented mindset.
