Location: Tanzanian-based with frequent transit to the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC)  Position Type: Full-Time (18 Immediate Vacancies) 

Fleet Type: HOWO and FAW Trucks 

Job Overview 

We are seeking 18 experienced and disciplined Heavy-Duty Truck Drivers to join our  logistics fleet. The primary responsibility is the safe and efficient transportation of goods from  Tanzania to the DRC. We are looking for professional drivers who are well-versed in long distance transit, cross-border documentation, and the operation of HOWO and FAW trucks. 

Key Responsibilities: 

• Long-Haul Operation: Safely operate HOWO and FAW trucks on international routes,  specifically transit trips to the DRC.
• Cargo Integrity: Ensure all goods are securely loaded, transported, and delivered  without damage or loss.
• Cross-Border Logistics: Manage and maintain all necessary transit permits and customs  documentation at border crossings.
• Vehicle Maintenance: Conduct daily pre-trip inspections and perform basic  troubleshooting to ensure the vehicle remains in top condition.
• Compliance: Adhere to all international road safety regulations, speed limits, and  company policies regarding rest stops and fuel management. 

Required Qualifications & Documentation 

• Valid Class E License.
• Academic background in HGV (Heavy Goods Vehicle), PSV (Public Service Vehicle) or  GDP (Good Driving Practice).
• Valid National Identification (NIDA) and a valid International Passport. ∙ Valid TIN number and NSSF registration.
• A recent Police Clearance Certificate and a Driving License Verification Certificate.

Personal Attributes 

• Proven experience in long-distance, cross-border driving (experience with the DRC route  is a significant advantage).
• Strong understanding of truck mechanics (specifically HOWO/FAW models).
• High level of integrity, patience, and physical stamina for long-haul trips.
