Established 74 years ago, the organization works to protect and care for children who have lost parental care or are at risk of losing it. It operates globally, with 135 locations in countries such as Zanzibar, Arusha, Dar es Salaam, Mwanza, and Iringa. SOS Children’s Villages Tanzania seeks qualified candidates for the following positions:
Job Title: Head of ICT
Duty Station: National Office – Dar es Salaam
Reporting to: National Director
Job Summary:
The Head of ICT is responsible for managing and implementing the ICT infrastructure and services across the organization, ensuring effective operation, security, and innovation in line with global policies.
Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and manage ICT systems, including LANs, WANs, Wi-Fi, and computing devices.
- Ensure internet bandwidth and systems meet business needs.
- Implement security measures for ICT systems and safeguard user data.
- Manage the ICT budget, procure equipment, and conduct audits.
- Support the integration of ICT for development to enhance services.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in technical support and IT project management.
- Expertise in LAN, databases, email systems, and Microsoft Server.
