JRS seeks to accompany, serve, and advocate the cause of refugees and other forcibly displaced people, that they may heal, learn and determine their own future.
Under the direction and supervision of the Education Coordinator and Project Director, assists in the responsibility of administration and management of the Education Program
The Education Volunteer primary responsibility is to Support the implementation of JRS education activities in Kibondo –Kigoma, Tanzania in order to guarantee the quality of formal and informal education services provided to refugees.
The position requires good communication skills, leadership, expertise in Special Education and the capacity to work with a team. Analytical thinking and the capacity to research innovative intervention methods, as well as creativity and flexibility are also expected.
Qualifications and Experience:
Education
Diploma/University degree in Special Education or equivalent
