Afritech Greencrops Group (ATGC Group) is a high-tech agricultural enterprise focusing on the crop planting, processing technology, and international trade of cassava, sorghum, soybeans, and other crops, focusing on green agricultural technology and sustainable development in Africa.

Afritech Greencrops Group (ATGC) is seeking a dedicated and dynamic individual to join our team also freshers are welcomed. We are hiring for the following position: Declaration Officer

JOB RESIPONSIBILITIES:

  • Responsible for the document review, declaration and inspection of import and export goods, and maintain good communication and coordination with customs, commodity inspection and other government departments
  • Responsible for handling tax reduction and exemption approval for imported equipment
  • Responsible for planning and applying for crop export licenses, Atomic Energy Commission fees, certificates of origin, fumigation certificates and other licensing documents required for crop export business
  • Responsible for regular customs compliance training for department personnel
  • Responsible for understanding customs, commodity inspection, taxation and other related policies, and being familiar with the information required for customs declaration, inspection and inspection
  • Responsible for completing other tasks assigned by superior management

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Customs and Tax Management or Diploma in Clearing and Forwarding.
  • At least one year of export customs declaration experience, understanding the export process of cashew nuts, sesame and other crops in Tanzania
  • Knowledge of basic bookkeeping procedure
  • Fluent in English
