Job Description
The HR Business Partner (HRBP) will act as a strategic partner to company’s Field Sales Teams. This role will drive human capital strategies that support high-performance field operations, ensuring alignment between business goals and HR initiatives in the areas of talent management, employee engagement, performance, compliance, and leadership development.
Responsibilities
Strategic HR Partnership:
- Collaborate with Regional Business Managers (RBMs) and Field Sales Managers to align HR strategies with business objectives.
- Utilize workforce analytics (e.g., attrition, productivity, hiring) to design data-driven, scalable HR interventions.
- Promote a high-performance, inclusive culture in the field, with a strong focus on gender equity and diversity.
Talent Acquisition & Onboarding:
- Partner with recruiting teams and field leaders to source, select, and onboard top field talent.
- Ensure structured and timely onboarding, induction, and field-readiness training for new hires.
- Lead initiatives to improve recruitment funnel efficiency and candidate quality.
Performance & Productivity Management:
- Implement performance management processes including SMART goal setting, real-time feedback, and regular evaluations.
- Work with managers on managing performance gaps, deploying performance improvement plans, and enhancing productivity at the team level.
- Lead field-based performance calibration and recognition initiatives.
Employee Engagement & Retention:
- Conduct regular field visits to engage with staff, gather insights, and resolve issues proactively.
- Drive the execution of monthly engagement activities and manage the delivery of company’s field engagement strategy.
- Resolve employee grievances promptly and fairly, in line with labor laws and internal policies.
Learning & Development:
- Identify training needs and work with Regional Training Managers to deploy targeted development programs.
- Facilitate leadership and coaching workshops for Area Sales Managers and Team Leads to enhance field supervision.
- Support succession planning and development of high-potential field talent.
Compliance & Risk Management:
- Ensure compliance with employment laws, company’s internal HR policies, and ethical sales practices.
- Conduct HR audits, investigate misconduct, and implement corrective actions where needed.
- Maintain accurate employee records and documentation in HRIS systems.
Requirements
Knowledge and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s/MBA is an advantage).
- Minimum 4 years of experience as an HRBP, preferably in a field-based role(s).
- Proven ability to partner with business leaders in fast-paced, decentralised environments.
- Strong conflict resolution, coaching, mentoring and data analysis skills.
- Hands-on experience with HRIS platforms and labour law compliance.
- Ability to travel frequently across regions to support field teams.
