Role Overview

As a CPA Accountant, you will be a key member of our finance department, reporting directly to the Accounts Manager. This is a full-time position based in Mateves, Arusha, Tanzania. We’re looking for someone who can hit the ground running and be available to relocate and start within approximately one week.

Key Responsibilities

Managing and overseeing the daily operations of the accounting department.
Preparing and analyzing financial statements.
Ensuring compliance with all financial regulations and company policies.
Conducting regular financial audits and preparing audit reports.
Assisting with budget preparation and financial forecasting.
Collaborating with other departments to ensure accurate financial reporting.

Qualifications and Experience

Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification is mandatory.
A minimum of 5-8 years of progressive experience in an accounting role.
Proven experience working with auditing firms, specifically from Dar es Salaam, is highly preferred.
Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations.
Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Ready to relocate to Arusha as soon as possible and be available within approximately one week.
