Job Description

This is a remote position.

Responsibilities

The Course Facilitator in Advocacy is responsible for delivering training programs and workshops focused on advocacy strategies, techniques, and best practices. They play a pivotal role in equipping participants with the knowledge and skills needed to become effective advocates for various causes, issues, or organizations.

We are looking for experienced course facilitators to provide live online through weekly zoom classes in the following subjects:

  • Movement Building
  • Networking and Network mapping
  • Engaging Key Decision Makers
  • Partnering

Contract duration: 4-8 weeks

Contract start date: Please state the 4- 8week block/s you are available to deliver the course/s you are applying to facilitate for (within the timeframe of 18th October – 18th December 2023)

Level of effort: Up to 3 hours a week

Total level of effort: up to 8 weeks

The consultant will report weekly. Kindly share your profile detailing your experience in the subject matter

Requirements

Knowledge and Experience
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Public Policy, Political Science, Advocacy, or a related field.
Proven experience in advocacy, grassroots organizing, public affairs, or related roles.
Strong knowledge of advocacy principles, legislative processes, stakeholder engagement, and campaign strategies.
Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
