HR World Ltd on behalf of our client, we are looking for a Construction Technician to assess, lease, renovate, and install assets at new service locations. The Construction Technician will ensure that validated sites are successfully transformed into operational Hubs or Shops while maintaining highquality standards and meeting acquisition targets.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assess assigned sites to identify potential service locations for Hubs or Shops
  • Negotiate lease agreements within budget, manage documentation, and maintain strong relationships with landlords and stakeholders
  • Plan, coordinate, and oversee site renovations and installation of required assets, ensuring all company policies and quality standards are met
  • Identify and coordinate with vendors or contractors needed for renovation and installation activities
  • Ensure structural and safety requirements are met prior to site commissioning
  • Maintain rework rate for acquisition steps at ≤5% by following outlined processes and quality assurance protocols
  • Provide regular updates on acquisition progress to the Construction Engineer and present insights in expansion team meetings
  • Document and report key metrics, including leased sites, acquired sites, rework rate, and monthly rental rate
  • Escalate critical issues that may impact acquisition timelines or quality
  • Contribute to refining acquisition criteria and processes for improved efficiency

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Diploma in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field
  • Experience in property management, construction management, or facilities management
  • Demonstrated leadership skills and experience managing teams
  • Strong negotiation skills for lease agreements and vendor contracts
  • Knowledge of construction standards, quality control, and safety regulations
  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple sites simultaneously
  • Strong analytical skills for evaluating site renovation needs and budgets
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Willingness to travel frequently to remote locations
