Overview:

We seek an experienced Construction Project Manager (minimum age 40) to oversee construction projects from planning to completion, ensuring timely delivery, budget adherence, and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Project Planning and Scheduling

• Develop project plans, timelines, and resource allocation.
• Monitor and update schedules.

2. Reporting and Documentation

• Prepare progress and financial reports.
• Maintain accurate project documentation.

3. Contractor and Vendor Management

• Identify and manage contractors and suppliers.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications.

4. Team Building and Leadership

• Recruit and train project managers.
• Foster a collaborative work environment.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• Minimum 10 years of construction project management experience.
• Knowledge of Zanzibar’s construction laws.
• Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
• Proficiency in project management software; familiarity with ASANA charts preferred.
• Fluency in English; Swahili is a plus.
• Minimum age of 40 years.
