Overview:
We seek an experienced Construction Project Manager (minimum age 40) to oversee construction projects from planning to completion, ensuring timely delivery, budget adherence, and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Project Planning and Scheduling
- Develop project plans, timelines, and resource allocation.
- Monitor and update schedules.
2. Reporting and Documentation
- Prepare progress and financial reports.
- Maintain accurate project documentation.
3. Contractor and Vendor Management
- Identify and manage contractors and suppliers.
- Ensure compliance with project specifications.
4. Team Building and Leadership
- Recruit and train project managers.
- Foster a collaborative work environment.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
- Minimum 10 years of construction project management experience.
- Knowledge of Zanzibar’s construction laws.
- Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency in project management software; familiarity with ASANA charts preferred.
- Fluency in English; Swahili is a plus.
- Minimum age of 40 years.
