This position is concerned with processing guest payments, managing cash transactions, and ensuring that all transactions are accurate and recorded correctly. This role involves providing excellent customer service, maintaining the cleanness of the cash register area. And assisting with additional tasks such as anticipating needs of guests in the lounge and bar, taking orders, serving and removing crockery and beverages in accordance with guests’ requirements and service policy.
The responsibility is to provide the high standard service to all of coming guests to make them 100% satisfied, correct the set up and collect the all money from guest also, and maintain the cleanness of the Restaurant
Responsibilities:
- Greet customers as they enter and thank them for their business as they leave
- Handle all guest payments and process credit and debit card transactions
- Operate the cash register, handle cash transactions accurately, and issue receipts to customers
- Balance the cash drawer at the beginning and end of each shift, ensuring that the correct amount of money is maintained.
- Respond to customer inquiries, provide information about menu items, and address any concerns.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the cashier area and dining area.
- Assist with packing takeout orders and managing online delivery orders.
- Coordinate with the kitchen and wait staff to ensure timely and accurate order processing.
- Follow all cash handling policies and procedures to ensure security and compliance.
- Assist with opening and closing duties, including light cleaning and stocking of supplies.
- Report any discrepancies or issues to the manager on duty.
- Provide excellent customer service at all times, creating a positive dining experience for all guests.
- Do not stand, loiter near, behind or talk about any guest at any time, so as that the guest may hear you, or eel uncomfortable.
- Report any problem situation or special guest request to the captain or supervisor, immediately so as to ensure that prompt action is taken.
- Grooming standards should be in accordance with the hotel policy.
- Perform other duties as assigned to meet business needs.
Requirements:
- Basic knowledge of restaurant operation; ability to work well in stressful and high pressure situations
- Strong customer and associate relation skills; Must be willing to work hard and learn new areas.
- Ability to use standard software applications and hotel system
- Skills, abilities and knowledge for hotel cashier job
Education and Training:
- Diploma, related working experience in food and beverage, and related professional area
