Helios Towers is a leading independent telecommunications infrastructure company, having established one of the most extensive tower portfolios across Africa. It builds, owns and operates telecom passive infrastructure, providing services to mobile network operators. Helios Towers currently operates in 6 markets in Africa and has recently signed agreements to enter 4 new markets in Africa and Oman in the Middle East.
Overview
Reporting to Finance Director, you will oversee the implementation and operation in Business Performance and Analysis Manager.
Role Responsibilities
As a Business Performance & Analysis Manager, you will be able to:
- Lead, manage, compile, and provide analysis toward all company planning, forecasting and strategic planning activities.
- Analyze current and past trends in key performance indicators including all areas of revenue, operating
- Expenses, and capital expenditures, focusing on tracking projects and their spend through the programs.
- Monitor performance indicators, highlighting trends and analyzing causes of unexpected variance.
- Supervision of Business Partner(s)
- Oversee and manage the continued development of Budgeting, Financial Forecasting, Operating Plan and Modelling tools.
- Ad-Hoc Reporting and Analysis
- Work with a Business Intelligence Tool and Dashboard reports
- Improve performance by evaluating processes to drive efficiencies and understand ROI in new and old projects.
- Develop financial models and analyses to support strategic initiatives.
- Supporting Senior Management Team and Departments heads with in-depth analysis
Requirements for the Role
To succeed in the role, you will be/will have:
- Professional accounting qualifications (CPA, ACCA or equivalent) are a must.
- College or University graduate in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration from a credible Institution is necessary.
- Significant supervising financial reporting experience (3 years plus) at a senior level is a necessary requisite.
