Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving sales and marketing efforts for our branded materials and paper cups, while effectively managing clients, overseeing factory staff, and ensuring efficient order fulfillment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales and Marketing:
- Develop and execute sales strategies for branded materials and paper cups.
- Identify and engage potential clients, nurturing relationships to drive sales growth.
- Plan and execute marketing campaigns to promote products effectively.
- Client and Staff Management:
- Manage a portfolio of clients, ensuring exceptional service delivery and client satisfaction.
- Supervise and coordinate factory staff to ensure efficient production and timely order fulfillment.
- Provide guidance and support to the team for optimal performance.
- Order Coordination:
- Maintain proper scheduling for the delivery of orders, ensuring accurate and timely delivery.
- Communicate effectively with relevant departments to streamline the order process.
- Order Handling:
- Handle orders efficiently, ensuring accuracy and prompt follow-through.
- Coordinate with internal teams to meet client requirements effectively.
Additional Responsibilities (as required by the position):
- Market Analysis and Strategy:
- Conduct market research to identify new opportunities and market trends.
- Develop and implement strategic plans based on market analysis.
- Partnership Development:
- Identify potential partners or collaborators to expand product reach and distribution.
- Negotiate and establish beneficial partnerships or collaborations.
- Budgeting and Forecasting:
- Assist in developing budgets, sales forecasts, and financial planning.
- Monitor and analyze sales metrics to ensure alignment with targets.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- Proven experience in sales, business development, or a similar role.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
- Proficiency in sales and CRM software is advantageous.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Fluency in written and spoken Swahili and English
