Job Vacancies for September 2024/2025 Academic year
Brookhurst International School is a co-educational institution that offers British National Curriculum in Kenya. We have two campuses in Kiserian and Lavington – Nairobi. The schools offer: Early years, Preparatory, Middle and senior schools, A level and BTEC.

Teaching – Job Vacancies
Teachers for Mathematics / Physics / Business / Economics: A degree in education and 10 years of experience in BNC. Must have experience in handling A level and O level. Must provide evidence of performance track record in past examinations.
Teacher ICT: A degree in Education specializing in ICT and Mathematics combination and at least 5 years of experience in BNC
Key stage one and two teachers: Must have a degree in ECD or a degree in primary education option and experience of not less than seven years in the British Education System.
Teacher Assistants: Degree in ECD or Primary education option and must have completed the degree program. Experience of at least one year will be an added advantage.
Teacher Assistants: For Art and design, Music, ECD and theater studies. Must have completed their degree programs and have experience of at least one year.
Foreign languages teachers in Spanish / German. Education degree in these languages and 5 years of teaching are necessary
French teacher: A degree in French and seven years of teaching experience. Experience in handling A level and O level candidates is a pre-requisite. Candidates from French speaking countries are encouraged to apply.
Art and design: Education degree in art and design and seven years of experience. Experience in handling A level and O level candidates is necessary.
Physical education: A degree in Physical Education with other subject’s combinations. Must have experience of at least 7 years and demonstrate ability to coordinate sports and handling PE candidates and coursework.

Education quality Assurance for preparatory school: The job holder will be expected to assess the quality of education services delivered in the prep school section and advice the teachers. Candidates must have a degree or master’s in education specializing in primary education. Must have experience in teaching and education management for over 10 years. Candidates with a master’s in education, monitoring and evaluation are encouraged to apply. Experience in BNC is required.
Education quality Assurance for Senior school: The job holder will be expected to assess the quality of education services delivered in middle and senior schools and advice the teachers. Candidates must have a degree or master’s in education. Must have experience in teaching and in education management for over 10 years. Candidates with a master’s in education, monitoring and evaluation are encouraged to apply. Experience in BNC is required.
Human resources officer: Candidate must have a degree in HR and at least 5 years of experience.
Real estate officer: Experience in building and maintenance for at least 3 years and a diploma in building and construction.

Must have a track record of good performance in previous schools.
Be registered as a teacher or you are in the process of registration.
Ability to use technology in delivering the content.
