Storeperson – Geita Gold Mine, Geita

Position Purpose:

To be an integral part of the warehousing function responsible for the operation of an efficient, safe, and secure warehouse facility. To ensure a high level of material availability to the various operational departments.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• The safe operation of various mobile equipment while loading, unloading, and delivering materials and equipment.
• Efficient, accurate receiving and issuing of all warehouse materials.
• Accurate data entry into the Pronto ERP system.
• Conduct stocktakes and cyclic counts as directed, ensuring a high-count accuracy.
• Reporting of all stock discrepancies to the supervisor.
• Maintain a high level of housekeeping within the warehouse and external storage areas.
• Compliance with AUMS Geofields Tanzania Ltd company policies, procedures, and standards.
• Assist in maintaining the security of materials within the warehouse and external storage areas.

Essential Requirements:

• Forklift, Integrated Tool Carrier, and Telehandler certificate or competency.
• Current Tanzanian driver’s license (Manual).
• Experienced in the use of Pronto or other ERP systems.
• A minimum of three years’ experience working in a warehouse environment within mining, earthmoving, or other associated heavy industries.
• Completion of secondary school.
• Advanced numeracy and literacy skills. Being fluent in both Swahili and English.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Familiar with the use of the Microsoft suite of programs.
• Current registration with the PSPTB.
