Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining financial records, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations. You will play a key role in managing the company’s finances and supporting decision-making through accurate and timely financial data.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Record Keeping:
  • Maintain and update financial records, including ledgers, journals, and bank statements.
  • Ensure the accuracy of financial data through regular reconciliation and verification processes.
Financial Reporting:
  • Prepare timely financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
  • Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts, providing variance analysis and reporting.
Tax Preparation:
  • Prepare and file local, TRA tax returns.
  • Stay updated with tax regulations to ensure compliance and optimize tax liabilities.
Accounts Payable and Receivable:
  • Manage accounts payable and receivable functions, ensuring timely invoicing and collections.
  • Process payroll and maintain employee records as needed.
Financial Analysis:
   – Conduct variance analyses and identify trends in financial performance.
   – Provide insights and recommendations to management to drive financial performance.
Support and Collaboration:
  • Collaborate with other departments to provide financial insights and support for strategic initiatives.
  • Assist in the development and improvement of financial processes and systems.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance,
  • Diploma in accounts and related field
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Working Conditions:
  • Office environment with standard working hours, with potential for overtime during peak periods.
