Position: Accountant

Key Requirements of the Job:

The overall purpose of the job is to handle accounts and finance roles inclusively, SAP Interface Balance; Bank Statement & Debit card processing; preparation and reconciliation of balance sheet & transport files, managing financial journals, withholding tax and month end reporting whilst adhering to all applicable policies, procedures.

Main Duties:

• Reporting of monthly financial results in group reporting packs
• Reconciliation of supplier/bank/stock reports.
• Assist the Financial Accountant in management of external financial audits, TRA audits and other regulatory audits.
• Preparing and filing of tax returns (VAT & WHT) in TRA system
• Management of fixed assets register.
• Participation in various financial projects
• Prepare & Ensure correct SAP Interface Balance
• Bank Statement Processing (BSP) and Debit card processing
• Ensure timely preparation of balance sheet reconciliation
• Ensure correct close of shipping files
• Process financial journals as per procedure
• Ensure proper transport files reconciliation
• Assist Financial accountant with month end reporting 
• WHT calculation and returns

Other Special Requirements;

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance or related filed from a reputable institution.
• Minimum 3 years of progressive relevant experience in an international company.
• Proficiency in SAP Business one and MS Office especially Excel
• High Level Communications & Interpersonal skills
