Direct Reports to: Head of Operations (LifeSpan), Dotted Reports to: Head of Finance (Starlink Gulf Trading).

Job Summary:
We are currently active looking for a highly skilled Accountant with strong stock controlling knowledge, tax compliance and statutory knowledge to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing financial records, overseeing inventory, and ensuring adherence to tax regulations and statutory compliance requirements.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
Accounting & Financial Management:
- Maintain accurate financial records and reconcile accounts.
- Prepare financial statements, reports, and budgets
- Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll processing.
Stock & Inventory Control:
- Oversee stock levels and ensure proper inventory management.
- Monitor stock movements, purchases, and stock reconciliations.
- Implement internal controls to prevent stock losses.
Tax Compliance & Statutory Requirements:
- Ensure timely filing of VAT, corporate tax, payroll taxes, and other statutory obligations.
- Keep up to date with tax laws and compliance regulations.
- Liaise with tax authorities and auditors for statutory audits and tax matters.
- Perform any other duty assigned by the management.
Knowledge and Experience
- A minimum of three (3) years’ experience in the same position as Accountant.
- Bachelor degree in Accounts or Finance, Commerce, Business administration or any other business-related discipline.
- Professional certifications (CPA, ACCA, or equivalent) are an added advantage.
- Experience in Accounting, Inventory management and tax laws.
- Computer Literate-ERP Systems, Windows, MS Applications
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
