The key purpose of this role is to perform optimization/modification of process control systems.
Key outputs and Responsibilities:
Manage, Design, co-ordinate and implement the installations of new process control systems within Brewing, Utilities and Packaging.
Ensure sustainable integrity and stability of the Control and Automation infrastructure and proactively recommend best practices within the Control and Automation Arena.
Support and develop staff.
Support the achievement of the Company’s strategic goals and manufacturing goals
Keeping abreast with technology in the control and automation space
Adapt to on-going changes in control and automation software
Increase customer satisfaction
Minimum Requirements:
Technician Diploma in Control & Automation/Instrumentation, Electrical & Electronics or equivalent technical Diploma, NCC Control & Instrumentation
Minimum of 3 years Control & Automation/Instrumentation technician experience or 5 years NCC Control & Instrumentation
Competency on Instrumentation, VSDs, PLCs, RSBatch, InTouch, Fieldbus Networks (Asi, Profibus, Ethernet) and InSQL Knowledge of OHS act, NOSA
