Postion: Logistics Support Agent-1

Key Purpose

  • The Key Purpose of this role is to provide administrative purchase to pay support to Logistics Teams to contribute to effective and efficient Logistics Operations.
  • The role is responsible for overseeing and managing the purchasing activities of Logistics function, ensuring that all procurement processes are carried out in compliance with company policies and legal guidelines.

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

Purchase Order & Inventory Management:

  • Reviews PFIs, Invoices and any other purchase docs to ensure accuracy and in alignment with agreed prices/rates.
  • Raising Purchase Requisitions (PR) and Purchase Orders (PO) for goods and services used by Logistics e.g. fuel, gas, spares, leases, transport services etc.
  • Tracking orders and ensuring timely delivery of goods and services, and timely GRNs so suppliers can be paid on time.
  • Monitoring inventory levels (fuel, gas, spares etc.) and placing orders as needed to maintain adequate supplies and ensure smooth operations.
  • Resolving issues with suppliers and vendors regarding shipment delays or quality/quantity lapses.
  • Conducting monthly fuel and gas reconciliations.

Supplier Statement Reconciliation & SLA Management

  • Conduct supplier statement reconciliations monthly and ensuring reconciling items are resolved within one month. Ensure all invoice queries are resolved.
  • Liaise with the Logistics teams on site to ensure any valid items on supplier statements not yet GRNed are accrued in the respective months.
  • Supplier Service Level Agreement (SLA) performance management – tracking of SLA KPIs, attendance of weekly/monthly review meetings and gap closure.

Other

  • Assisting in the preparation of annual budgets and presenting cost analyses to management for decision-making purposes.
  • Any other admin tasks as may be required by the Line Manager or Logistics teams.

Minimum Requirements:

  • 3 years relevant diploma/degree in Supply Chain/Logistics or any other relevant field
  • Preferably 2 – 3 years of working experience.
  • Good level of computer literacy (MS Office, Teams, Syspro etc.)

Position: SNP Planner

AB InBev/Tanzania Breweries LTD

Location: Dar es Salaam HQ

The Key Purpose of this role Generate short term brewing and packaging plans to meet forecasted sales while continuously planning stocks to maximize GLY while maintaining inventory policy.

Key Outputs and Responsibilities:

The key accountabilities for this role include but are not restricted to:

  • Optimization of production and allocation to prevent lost sales and ensure opportunities and bottlenecks are identified early on daily basis
  • Presenting weekly and daily unconstrained production plan solved to DC level as per LCP Requirement – 1-14 Days
  • Scenario planning with various cost inventory levels – all scenarios solved for lost sales by DC
  • Main connection between Supply teams and Demand on daily basis
  • Focus on short term capability, capacity and cost while focusing on protecting service level and deliver mix and enable commercial plan
  • Translate production plans by brewery into numerical KPI’s (GLY, NST, OAE) and ensure full understanding by brewery and lines

Develop and publish short term brewing, distilling and packaging plans to balance demand and capacity 13th week

  • Plan brewhouse, racking & filtration, distilling and blending to ensure adequate beer and spirits stocks to achieve packaging plan.
  • Agree, publish and monitor brewing and distilling schedules to ensure sufficient cellar stock by brand is available at all times to meet packaging requirements
  • Agree, publish and monitor packaging schedules to ensure sufficient full beer and spirit stock by brand pack is available at all times to meet actual sales demand
  • Ensure all resources i.e. materials, empties, shifts etc. are in place to execute the schedule.

Master data & transactional data management in and of software system

  • Locations and types of locations
  • Products and their parameters such as inventory policy, procurement type, lot size, storage costs, BOM, capacity consumption, production lead time and production cost
  • Resource capability and capacity by bucket of production, storage, transportation and handling
  • Transportation policy and cost per lane
  • Transactional data fully updated such as current stock, production plan, in transit stocks, planned transfers and sales orders.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Relevant Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering or Commerce.
  • Preferably 2-3 years working experience.
  • Knowledge of linear programming/optimization analytics advantageous
  • Experience of planning tools, techniques and accountabilities ranging from tactical planning, distribution and supplier management.
  • Proven experience with ability to influence and interface with senior stakeholders, specifically manufacturing.
  • Able to understand and interpret sales trends, manufacturing and distribution chains and to convert into appropriate production strategy

Position: Laboratory Technician

AB InBev/Tanzania Breweries LTD

Location: Moshi

The key purpose of this job is to define, develop and implement optimal brewery wide microbiological standards and work practices to ensure compliance to microbiological process and product specifications.

Key roles and responsibilities:

Specialty Analysis:

  • Carry out specialized and highly specialized quality analyses where required
  • Record the results of analyses conducted on appropriate information systems and communicate results accordingly
  • Conduct analysis of results to identify problems and improvement opportunities timeously
  • Assist the plant in the execution of quality analysis, where required
  • Conduct calibration of specialist equipment for which the labs are responsible
  • Operates the weighbridge and dispatch malt trucks

Quality Auditing:

  • Conduct required and requested quality audits, completing the appropriate documentation and communicating the results
  • Review quality analysis procedures of production teams, identifying problems or training needs and communicating these to the team leader
  • Conduct regular audits of calibration procedures of production teams and communicating results
  • Conduct audits of analytic procedures to ensure compliance with Zone/Global guidelines, and identifying corrective actions required
  • Where required, initiate corrective actions coming out of the quality audits in areas that impact the laboratory

Problem-solving:

  • Support the production teams in problem solving, providing specialist assistance and techniques
  • Assist with coaching/mentoring of production teams on problem solving and correct use of problem-solving techniques as required

Training:

  • Support the training of the production teams
  • Assist with coaching/mentoring of production teams on quality analyses and correct use of analytical techniques

Minimum Requirements:

  • Minimum National Diploma in Biotechnology, Chemistry, Food Science
  • Experience: 1-3 Years in Laboratory
  • Understanding of process control within the malting process environment
  • Good understanding of the principles and practices of VPO
  • 2-3 months on the job training plus Academy Basic Process Artisan
  • Training Ideal – 3-6 months on the job plus ATO program L1-9 efficiency

Position: Checker

The key purpose of this job is to count, check & verify, dispatch & receive loads, by physically checking/verifying the stocks loaded/ offloaded. Process and reconcile all Digital or Manual Invoices, process POS payment activities, adhere to stock master processes & actively participating in the Operations safety, Inventory management & control routines.

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

Adherence to the health, safety and environmental standards

  • 5S & Site housekeeping standards maintained and adhered to
  • Appropriate personal protective equipment used as designated by site safety standards.
  • Comply with all Safety and Environmental requirements.
  • Report and act on non-conformities on the respective platforms

Effective stock quality management

  • Warehouse stock age standards maintained by ensuring stock rotation principles applied – FEFO
  • Ensures quality control through checking packaging on warehouse floor and prior to loading
  • Effective inventory management & controls in line with our governance policies
  • Accurate daily stock count performed using handheld device
  • Generate variance reports and resolve discrepancies
  • Maintain clear and effective communication with Inventory teams, Warehouse teams and other stakeholders

Efficient loading and unloading of vehicles and production lines

  • Maintain clear and effective communication regarding the load plan execution with stakeholders, Commercial, Credit, Inventory, Logistics teams
  • All documentation accurately and comprehensively verified and completed
  • Primary and secondary distribution load plans are printed, uploaded, reviewed and signed by the Picker (if applicable), Operator (Mandatory), Driver (mandatory) and Security (Mandatory),
  • Process all internal stock movements (Transfers, Breakages and Issues) on ERP system in line with the documentation
  • Accurate checking, loading and unloading of vehicles. Perform actual count on trucks to confirm quantities
  • Accurate recording of returns prior to unloading
  • Actively participate on the process of stock deviations investigations and propose improvement and mitigation actions
  • Conversant with relevant business information, policies, processes and procedures

Minimum Requirements:

  • Matric / Grade 12 or equivalent
  • Valid forklift driver license
  • Experience operating a double handler

Position: Fleet & Safety Supervisor

AB InBev/Tanzania Breweries LTD

Location: Dar es Salaam HQ

The key purpose of this role is to provide on the ground technical and operational support to the Safety/Fleet management function, thereby ensuring that the Company operates in a lawful and ethical manner, abiding to the Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) Act, Road Transport Act, Governance Codes (Combined Code)of practice pertaining to Safety and Fleet Management. Ensuring adherence to AB InBev Safety Policies, Standards, Corporate Governance an d protection of stakeholder interests through the mitigation at source of loss and safety risk, pure and speculative, across the broad spectrum of the ABInBev operations.

Key roles and responsibilities:

  • Overall responsible for the implementation of the Zone/BU Safety and Fleet strategy
  • Responsible for the Regional Fleet/Safety performance tracking and course correcting
  • To ensure compliance with the Occupational Health and Safety Act of 93 and municipal bi laws
  • Maintain healthy relationships with local authorities across the region with established interaction routines
    Accountable to providing sustainable
  • Fleet/Safety support to the region, Warehouses , Tier 2 truck fleet services, Tier 1 fleet support and the commercial operations
  • Dotted line support to the
  • Fleet/Safety Supervisors , with regular support sessions
  • Overall accountable for providing strong safety leadership and guidance to the regional business units
  • To drive the DPO Safety/Fleet pillar roll out and develop standards aligned to not only the DPO requirements but to local legislation
  • To develop and maintain regional safety standards to minimize losses, ensure compliance to legal provisions (e.g. OHS Act, Environmental Act, COID Act) and limit legal liability exposures
  • Ensure accurate reporting on CR360 of all SIF, fatalities and SIO’s
  • Ensure that AB Inbev Safety reporting guidelines are adhered to
  • To monitor/advise on the Occupational Health, Safety and Environmental program performance
  • Reports on Fleet availability for the region, with action plans to ensure fleet availability and accuracy of information

  • Arrange and co ordinate legal training for employees and contractors

  • Implementation and execution of all the requirements in the National transport policy
  • Manage expenditure against the budget (VLC) with monthly latest estimate (LE) aligned to period phasing

Minimum Requirements:

  • Relevant 3-year tertiary qualification
  • 5-7 years fleet functional work experience
  • Applicable Occupational Health and Safety Act
    of 93, South African Road Traffic Act and governance knowledge
  • Business and financial acumen
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, Word and knowledge of SAP
  • Strong analytical ability demonstrated
  • Good performance track record
