1. Agronomy Intern:

Are you passionate about agriculture and eager to gain hands-on experience in the field? We have an exciting internship opportunity in our Agronomy Department for individuals who meet the following qualifications:

Qualifications:

Graduated from a recognized Agriculture training institution within the last 2 years.
Holds a degree in an agriculture-related field such as Horticulture, Agriculture General, Agronomy, Biology, Chemistry, Botany, or Crop Management.
Graduated within the last two years.

Learning Opportunities:

Ø Scouting:

Learn to identify plant pests and recognize signs and symptoms.
Monitor trends of pest pressure in agricultural fields.
Gain practical experience in implementing Integrated Pest Management (IPM) principles.

Ø Spraying:

Acquire knowledge of spraying tools and equipment, including Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
Learn the maintenance and calibration of spraying equipment.
Develop proficiency in various spraying techniques, emphasizing coverage and spraying volumes.

Ø Irrigation:

Manage Electrical Conductivity (EC) and pH in irrigation systems.
Participate in the preparation of nutrient solutions for irrigation.

Project/Specific Assignments:

Ø Trials with New Crop Protection Products:

Participate in planning, executing, and documenting trials with newly introduced crop protection products.
Ensure adherence to the GreenGEP format for all trials.

Ø Comparative Efficacy Studies:

Contribute to studies comparing the effectiveness of various crop protection products.
Utilize data-proven results to make informed recommendations.

Ø Irrigation Management Projects:

Assess and manage EC and pH in irrigation systems.
Evaluate water holding capacity and water retention based on specific needs.

Ø Plant Resilient Projects and PGR Application:

Contribute to projects focused on enhancing plant resilience.
Learn and apply the use of Plant Growth Regulators.

All trials and special projects should adhere to the GreenGEP format.
Results of trials and projects must be data-proven, demonstrating proficiency in data collection, analysis, and interpretation.

Quality Assurance Policies:

Assist in drafting, interpreting, and implementing Quality Assurance policies and procedures, gaining exposure to policy formulation and implementation.

Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs):

Qualifications:

Recent graduate with a degree in Human Resources Management or a related field.

Key Responsibilities and Learning Opportunities:

Ø Strategy Development:

Assist in planning, developing, and implementing HR management and development strategies in collaboration with the Human Resources Manager.
Gain exposure to various HR aspects, including recruitment, discipline, grievance handling, counselling, pay and conditions, contracts, training, and development.

Ø Recruitment Activities:

Participate in recruitment activities, from receiving job applications to scheduling interviews.
Verify educational qualifications and previous employment records of applicants.

Ø Leave Management:

Ø Disciplinary Matters:

Guide and administer disciplinary matters reported by employees, supervisors, and management.

Ø Advisory Role:

Advise The Human Resources Manager on HR and personnel issues.

Ø Safety Standards and Performance Review:

Develop safety standards and practices and ensure adherence.
Provide a periodic review of employee performance and contribute to recognition and development efforts.

Ø Career Development Assistance:

Assist individuals in their efforts to develop and qualify for more advanced jobs within the company.

Ø Diverse Duties:

Carry out any other duties as instructed by The Human Resources Manager, gaining exposure to various HR functions.
