KUKUA represents a commitment to connect the finest Tanzanian craft techniques and crafts(wo)men with contemporary design, with the aim of reaching a new, more sustainable, and inclusive symbiosis between the two.
Since 2021, KUKUA has been collaborating with local artisans in Zanzibar and Tanzania to develop small-batch productions of furniture and objects. Follow the development of the fruitful collaborations on the project pages below.
