These positions are located in the Human Resources Section and Procurement Section, Registry. The incumbent will perform her/his duties under the supervision of the Associate Human Resources Officer in HR or Procurement Assistant.
Responsibilities
Within limits of delegated authority, the Team Assistant may be responsible for the following duties:
- Updating and maintaining the official status files correspondence and other documents in the personnel files, preserve confidentiality of the entrusted documents as per the rules and regulations;
- Prepare and maintain electronic and physical employee records, insuring all information is accurate, complete, and up to date.
- Requesting missing information from staff members and filling them in the official status file;
- Receiving and log-in incoming correspondence in appropriate files and folders;
- Maintaining appropriate records of document received and follow established procedures for requesting, retrieving, and disposing of the records when necessary.
- Ensuring that the requisite personnel documents are completed by the staff members and returned for filling;
- Digitalized documentation and maintain the electronic files.
- Send folders for filing and registration in Content Manager system.
- Provides general office support services; processes, drafts, edits, proofreads and finalizes for signature/approval, a variety of correspondence and other communications;
- Operates a variety of office equipment in the performance of basic office functions, e.g. photocopier, printer, scanner, etc.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

Education
- High school diploma or equivalent is required.
Work Experience
- Minimum of one (1) years of progressively responsible experience in general office support, or related area is required.
- No experience is needed if candidate possess a first-level university degree or higher. Working experience in archives, electronic records management, is desirable.
- working with International Criminal Tribunals is desirable.
- Working experience in ERP systems (e.g. Inspira, Umoja) or similar is desirable.

Languages
- English and French are the working languages of the Mechanism. For the post advertised, fluency in oral and written English is required.
