SALES CONSULTANT VACANCY

We are looking for a sales consultant who is passionate about creating memorable Tanzania Experiences for our Clients with a strong combination of guidance, great customer service skills, a taste for detail, and extensive knowledge about the Tanzania mainland and Zanzibar destinations.

Job Location: Tortilis Head Offices in Arusha

Duties and Responsibilities:

Building and maintaining good relationships with our safari agents.
Preparing safari bookings, and quotes for the client.
Dealing with all inquiries from the beginning until confirmation of the booking.
Communicate with clients via email and phone in a friendly and polite manner and give accurate and consistent information.
Responding and handling safari agent inquiries by e-mail and phone, converting inquiries from clients on the phone and by e-mail into actual sales estimations.
Ensuring daily updating of all the relevant information i.e., Client’s safari package, allergies, picking time, and landing off to the airport also dealing with last minutes changes.
Taking care of booking reservations/cancellations/amendments and preparing files for the Operations Department, with all correct invoices and client details
Working closely with the reservations and operations departments.
Other duties as assigned by the Management.

Experience:

Minimum 5 years of experience as a Sales Expert or Tour Consultant in the Tourism Industry.
Education qualification bachelor’s degree in marketing or a related field.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Excellent knowledge of Microsoft packages (Excel, Word, and Outlook).
Great Customer Experience with Tanzanian Wildlife, and its national parks.
Good knowledge of accommodation found in and outside the parks and their specifications.
