POSITION: Remittance Officer
Location: Head Office
QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor Degree or equivalent
- MBA/ Master’s Degree or a relevant professional qualification will be an advantage
- Minimum of three (3) years’ experience in Banking, Microfinance or Payments systems
- Product penetration
- Implementation of business and development plan
- Growth of remittance revenue
- Customer services

- Fraud and Operational risk knowledge
- Revenue assurance and Product Knowledge
- Regulatory and legal knowledge

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Business Development
- Develop and execute product plans to support remittance and other digital products
- Identify and implement innovative revenue generating services
- Drive remittance products promotion and rewards to encourage increased adoption and usage
- Build and maintain strategic partnerships with key stakeholders
- Establish relationship with branch business team to achieve the set branch remittance targets
- Recruitment of sub-agents for remittance products to increase cash pick up points.
Performance Monitoring & Analytics
- Monitor changes and trends in remittance to ensure competitiveness in the market and alignment to customer preference.
- Conduct monthly analysis to ensure product and pricing is in alignment with the industry position.
- Closely monitor customer complaints and improve the process to provide simple, functional and reliable products.
Communication & Training
- Train and guide staff involved in remittance as per the banks training framework.
- Produce and publish detailed product information guides including features and functions, positioning and pricing.
- Conduct training to all recruited sub agents.
