Office Assistant – Receptionist

Reporting to the Administration Officer, the job holder will be responsible for manning the customer service desk/reception by:
Collating and recording customer complaints and managing the suggestion box;
Maintaining a register on all complaints raised by customers/visitors;
Collecting and distributing hand delivered mail;
Recording visitor’s details in the visitor’s register;
Receiving and directing customers comprising of visitors, suppliers, stakeholders and the general public;
Maintaining records of assets-telephone, equipment and peripherals;
Issuing customer information services by providing required information, corporate publications, brochure’s and fliers;
Assisting in dealing adequately or directing queries as raised with the relevant Officers;
Receiving/ making telephone calls and directing them as appropriate;
Receiving /mail documents /parcels and addressing them appropriately;
Assisting in typing and filing of documents; and
Assisting in organizing corporate events and stakeholders’ engagement;
Academic and Professional Qualifications
Diploma in Public Relations, Customer Care, Customer Service or any other relevant filed from a recognized institution
Knowledge Skills and Competencies
Shown merit and abiity as reflected in work performance and results;
Be detail oriented, have ability to meet deadlines, while delivering on high quality results;
Proficieny in computer applications; and
Meet the provisions of Chapter Six of the Constitution of Kenya.
Terms of Service
The appointment will be on temporary terms of service for a period of one (1) year

Clearance Certificate from Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission(EACC);
Clearance Certificates from Higher Education Loans Board (HELB);
A Valid Certificate of Good Conduct from the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI); and
A current report from an approved Credit Reference Bureau (CRB).
