Tanzania Revenue Authority (TRA Interview) was established under the Tanzania Revenue Authority Act No.11 0f 1995. The Authority is a semi-autonomous agency of the Government responsible for the administration of the Central Government taxes as well as several non-tax revenues. TRA is currently implementing the Sixth Corporate Plan (CP6: 2022/23 – 2026/27) with the Vision of “A Trusted Revenue Administration for Socio-economic Development” and the Mission of “We Make It Easy to Pay Tax and Enhance Compliance for Sustainable Development”.

The Tanzania Revenue Authority (TRA) conducted interviews between March 29th and 30th, 2025. The names of successful candidates were announced on the TRA website (www.tra.go.tz) on March 22nd, 2025. Candidates also received notifications via email.

The interviews were held in 9 regions:

• Dar es Salaam (for Dar es Salaam and Pwani)
• Zanzibar (for Unguja and Pemba)
• Arusha (for Arusha, Manyara, Kilimanjaro and Tanga)
• Dodoma (for Morogoro, Dodoma, Singida, Iringa and Tabora)
• Mtwara (for Mtwara, Lindi and Ruvuma)
• Mbeya (for Mbeya, Songwe and Rukwa)
• Mwanza (for Mwanza, Shinyanga, Mara and Simiyu)
• Kagera (for Kagera and Geita)
• Kigoma For Kigoma and Katavi)
