I Never Got an Offer From Kaizer Chiefs” Reveals Pitso Mosimane

Pitso Mosimane says he did not receive an offer to join Kaizer Chiefs.

Speaking to Newzroom Afrika, the 58-year-old revealed that he was in communication with Amakhosi, but no offer was ever made to him or his manager.

Pitso Mosimane recently signed with United Arab Emirates side Al Wahda FC despite reports linking him to Chiefs. He parted ways with Saudi Arabian side Al Ahli after he promoted the team from the second division to top-flight last season.

Pitso Mosimane says he did not receive an offer to join Kaizer Chiefs.

Speaking to Newzroom Afrika, the 58-year-old revealed that he was in communication with Amakhosi, but no offer was ever made to him or his manager.

Pitso Mosimane recently signed with United Arab Emirates side Al Wahda FC despite reports linking him to Chiefs. He parted ways with Saudi Arabian side Al Ahli after he promoted the team from the second division to top-flight last season.

Pitso will now join Al Wahda along side Kabelo Rangoaga, Musi Matlaba, Kyle Solomon and Maahier Davids. The four have been part of Mosimane’s technical team for a few years and are expected to assist the South African coach as he seeks a challenge in the UAE league.

Mosimane revealed that he received offers from different clubs before joining Wahda but Chiefs was none of them.

“Everywhere, there’s always something except in Europe. “

Asked if he received an offer from Kaizer Chiefs, the former Mamelodi Sundowns coach said he was not aware.

“No, i never got an offer from Kaizer Chiefs. I speak to Kaizer Chiefs almost all the time and there was never an offer given according to my manager because I don’t speak to people direct,:” Mosimane said.

Mosimane recently parted ways with Saudi Arabian football giants Al Ahli, after he and his technical team were not paid for five months. The former Bafana mentor helped the club return to the Saudi Arabia Pro League after getting them promoted from the country’s second division.

The former Al Ahly coach now finds himself in UAE with a new vision and goal.
