The Certificate of Secondary Education Examination (CSEE) is conducted by the National Examinations Council of Tanzania (NECTA). It evaluates students’ understanding of the syllabus and determines their eligibility to proceed to advanced education levels, such as Form Five and Six or vocational training.

The Executive Secretary of the National Examinations Council of Tanzania (NECTA), Professor Said A. Mohamed, has officially announced the results of the 2025 Form Four Education Leaving Examination (CSEE) at a ceremony held today, January 31, 2026 in Dar es Salaam. The announcement has been of great importance to students, parents, teachers and education stakeholders in the country, as it shows the direction of success and development of the education sector for the year in question.

According to a statement released by NECTA, a total of 595,810 candidates who registered to take the exam were able to fully participate in the CSEE 2025 examinations. Of these, 526,620 candidates have passed and obtained the qualification to continue with other levels of education or vocational and intermediate training, a situation that shows a significant increase in success compared to previous years. Professor Mohamed explained that the results are a sign of the great efforts being made by the Government through the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology, teachers and parents in ensuring that an optimal learning and teaching environment is in place.

How to Check Matokeo ya Kidato cha Nne 2025/2026

1. Online via NECTA Website

The NECTA website is the primary platform for checking results. Follow these steps:

• Visit the Official NECTA Website: www.necta.go.tz
• Navigate to the Results Section:

• Choose the Certificate of Secondary Education Examination (CSEE) results option.

3. Through School Notice Boards
