Job Overview
Driver
Nairobi County, Kenya
Key Performance Areas:
Safely make deliveries to customers in a timely manner.
Assist with the loading and offloading of products from the vehicle.
Maintain high standard of cleanliness and hygiene within the vehicle.
Prevent and deny the unauthorized use of and carriage of passengers within the vehicle.
Undertake legitimate journeys commissioned through the dispatch team.
Operate the vehicle in compliance to all national traffic laws.
Report all vehicle defects and maintenance requirements to Fleet Manager immediately upon discovery.
Properly account for fuel, mileage and consumables issued on the vehicle.
Maintain ongoing communication with the dispatch team and the fleet manager.
Correctly complete the vehicle movement chart for all journeys undertaken.
Report any accidents, injuries, and vehicle damage to management immediately.
Operate the vehicle strictly within the designated area of operation.
Keep abreast with changes in traffic rules and regulations.
Perform any other duties assigned to you from time to time.
Qualifications Required:
Minimum high school certificate or equivalent
AA Kenya certified certificate
Experience and Skills Required:
5 years’ experience in a similar role
Valid driving License
