Sub-County Administrator
Duties and Responsibilities
Development of policies and plans;
Coordination of service delivery at the Sub County;
Developmental activities to empower the community;
Provision and maintenance of infrastructure and facilities of public services;
Exercise any functions and powers delegated by the County Public Service Board under section 86; and
Facilitate and coordinate citizen participation in the development of policies and plans and delivery of services.
Facilitating and coordinating citizen participation in development of policies, plans and delivery of service.
Preparing progress reports for management in accordance with approved reporting formats and ensuring timely submission.

Ensure timely, efficient communication and coordination of all Sub- County activities
Participating in development of the annual work plan budget and policies, ensuring strict compliance with the relevant statutes.
Sub-County Administrator Job in Kenya
Ensuring compliance with National Values and Principles of Good Governance as outlined in Article 10 and 232 of the Constitution of Kenya, 2012.
Ensuring operationalization of service delivery in all the devolved unit in the Sub-County.
Ensuring efficient management of resources and co-ordination of County Government resources.
Qualifications
Must be a Kenyan Citizen
Bachelor’s degree in any of the following disciplines, public Administration, Business Administration/Management, Community Development or any other social science from a recognized institution
Master’s degree in a relevant field will be an added advantage
Certificate in management lasting not less than six (6) weeks or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution
Certificate in Computer application skills from a recognized institution
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS

Clearance from HELB where necessary
Clearance from the Ethics and anti- corruption commission
Clearance from the CRB.
